Our 3d Rendering range has been specifically setup for use by medical illustrators and animators to offer the highest quality results with the lease amount of effort.

Here are a few reasons why the Atomedge 3D Rendering range ideal for this type of workflow:

Render-ready file formats: 3D Studio Max, Maya, Softimage, Cinema4D & Lightwave

Individually setup and tested. Files open with the correct textures, shaders and lighting conditions and are ready to render straight away. Models also include a range of other useful formats should you wish to explore cross-platform migration.

Optimized geometry

Models have been created predominantly with quads and are designed to be subdivided. We understand the needs of animators and have created topology that is optimal for proper deformation. Overlapping and intersecting geometry has been avoided.

Clean layout

All scene elements are clearly and logically structured and all are correctly named with the proper medical terminology. Explore the hierarchy of each model by expanding the “3D Model File Structure” on each product page. Models have been designed according to “real world” scale, and will align correctly with each other avoiding intersections.

Textures & UV’s

Each model comes with a comprehensive set of textures and non-overlapping unwrapped UV’s. Texture maps are created from high resolution photographs of real life subject matter and then laid out on 16k UV stamps. Extreme close-ups are never a problem. Standard texture files include diffuse, specular, bump, SSS, and displacement maps.

Licensing

Our 3D Rendering range is available under two different license structures. The Standard License can be purchased, downloaded and used straight away for individual projects. We also have an Advanced License available for broadcasting and print publications. If you’re interested in learning more about these options, please have a look at our license page, or get in touch with us with your query.
